"Rule 39, never say no to bacta." -Scorch from Republic Commando
Chibi Delta Squad is a digital illustration created in Adobe Photoshop that pays homage to two my my favorite indie games to ever exist, Castle Crashers and Republic Commando. A simple but amazing piece, please check out the "Inspirations" tab to see how I concocted such a silly masterpiece inspired by the powered of indie games!
About the Product
The print itself is made on a 13"x19" 69 Ibs semi-gloss paper that has is printed to the edge of the paper. This means the art will run off the page seamlessly instead of having a white border all around it. This adds a clean look to the art that mimics the original nature of the illustration.
The back of the art will contain the edition (First or Second), the print number, and my unique signature. First edition prints are the initial batch of prints produced from the original artwork, often considered more valuable due to their limited availability and historical significance. Second edition prints are subsequent print runs made from the same artwork, typically produced in larger quantities and may have minor alterations or improvements.
About the Shipping
The print will be sealed in a perfectly sized bag and carefully rolled up in a plain white tube for shipping. This process of shipping is the most cost effective for both parties and will guarantee the safety of your print infinitely more than if shipped in a rigid envelope. We ship internationally as well as domestically.
How to Frame
13x19in is a standard frame size which can be bought at many local craft stores such as Michel's or Hobby Lobby. For a more unique look for your artwork, I would recommend getting the piece professionally matted and framed to fit inside of a 13x19 frame, which is another standard frame size. This extra step will be more expensive, but will add an entirely different level of elegance to your purchase.
Inspirations
I remember seeing this beautifully underrated art from "All Of...Something" on his tumbler page, and the idea struck me like lightning. I saw a bunch of silly fools in colored armor and realized there was another "squad" that was uncannily similar. Of course I based my entire image off of the original Castle Crashers art, which was entirely the point of this little cross over. I would say it came out magically.
